Do you want to volunteer?

YOU WILL RECEIVE:

WE REQUIRE THAT YOU:

  • Must be at least 18 years old (by the time the festival starts)
  • Work at least 2 shifts during the festival (daytime or evening/night)
  • Show up on time, work all your assigned shifts and be sober while working
  • Wear your Crew T-shirt and Crew Pass during your shifts, and remove it when the shift is over
  • Follow instructions from your Team leader and Volunteer Coordinator
  • Do not share or disclose sensitive information about artists, staff or fellow volunteers

PLEASE NOTE:

  • • You are responsible for booking your own accomodation and travel.
  • • As an indoor festival we need our volunteers to be available Thursday-Sunday, the minimum requirement is to be able to work 2 out of 4 festival days (at least two shifts). If you select too few days, your application will not be accepted (different teams have different working days, read the Team descriptions HERE). Example: If you apply for Bagpack and Checkpoint you need to select Monday plus 2 days during the 4 main festival days (Thurs-Sun).
  • • Work shifts will be assigned according to the schedule logistics, therefore you may be given another task/team than what you have chosen.
  • • Please inform us about travel companions if you want to sync your work schedules.
  • • Due to our large international mix of volunteers, English is our common work language.
  • • Harassing artists and/or festival guests will not be tolerated and may result in your wristband being cut.
  • • In the event of illness, you must notify your Volunteer coordinator, and a medical certificate must be sent by email as soon as possible.
  • • If you fail to show up to your agreed shifts without a valid reason, we will require full payment for your festival pass.

The application process:

When your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation email and an invitation to join a closed Facebook group. Approximately 5-6 weeks prior to the festival you will be assigned to a team, and you will receive your work schedule.

You have to confirm all your shifts by email. Failure to do so may result in you being removed from the Crew, so please pay close attention to confirmation deadlines. Always reply when asked to do so.
